Clura’s Chrome extension includes a SEC EDGAR Filings Scraper template that extracts structured filing data from the currently open company filings or search results pages on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s EDGAR database.
This template is built for investors, analysts, compliance teams, legal researchers, and fintech startups who track regulatory filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and other forms. After you search for a company (by name, ticker, or CIK) and open its filings page, the scraper reads the filing table displayed on the screen.
You can review and customize which fields are extracted, confirm pagination if the filings span multiple pages, and add additional custom fields if required. Once run, the scraper collects filing metadata across pages, saves everything to your Clura account, and allows export as CSV or JSON for financial analysis, compliance tracking, or research.

How to Use

Open a company filings page on EDGAR
Go to the SEC EDGAR search page and search for a company by name, ticker, or CIK. Open the company’s filings page.

Open the Clura extension
Click the Clura Chrome extension icon. Available scraper templates will be displayed.

Select the SEC EDGAR Filings Scraper template.
Review and confirm:
