Clura’s Chrome extension includes a Yahoo Finance Stock Historical Data Scraper template that extracts structured price history data from the currently open Historical Data tab on stock pages in Yahoo Finance. This template is built for traders, analysts, investors, researchers, and fintech teams who want to convert visible stock price history tables into clean, structured datasets.
After you navigate to a stock’s page (for example, AAPL, TSLA, or any listed ticker) and open the Historical Data tab, you can set the date range and frequency (Daily, Weekly, Monthly). The scraper reads the price table displayed on the page. You can review and customize which fields are extracted, confirm pagination if applicable, and add additional custom fields if required. Once run, the scraper collects historical stock data across the selected range, saves everything to your Clura account, and allows export as CSV or JSON for analysis, modeling, or reporting.

How to Use

Open a stock’s Historical Data tab
Go to Yahoo Finance, search for a ticker, and open the Historical Data tab. Set your preferred date range and frequency.
