Clura’s Chrome extension includes a BBC News Scraper template that extracts structured article data from the currently open BBC News homepage or section pages. This template is built for journalists, researchers, analysts, marketers, and media teams who track global coverage on BBC News and want to convert visible headlines into clean, structured datasets.

After you navigate to a specific BBC News section (such as World, Business, Technology, Health, or Politics) or the homepage, the scraper reads the article cards displayed on the page. You can review and customize which fields are extracted, confirm navigation type (pagination or infinite scroll depending on layout), and add additional custom fields if required. Once run, the scraper collects article data across pages, saves everything to your Clura account, and allows export as CSV or JSON for monitoring, research, or reporting.
